Coronavirus: Cases at 1 749 with 13 deaths, Cele Signals an extension
From Minister Bheki Cele is hinting that a lockdown extension may be on the cards to another minister allegedly flouting the regulations, Day 12 of the lockdown has been hectic.
Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize has once again updated South Africa on the current situation. Speaking during a media briefing, the minister confirmed the latest coronavirus statistics:
As at today, the total number of confirmed #COVID19 cases is 1749. There is also another death, bringing the total to 13 deaths. It was a male who had stage 4 prostate cancer at Parklands Hospital. We convey our condolences to the family of the deceased.
